Elizabeth Burton

DHC Student Worker, DHC Summer Cohort 2020

Digital Humanities Center

Elizabeth is a junior studying Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies & Education. Her interests are in studying archives and curricula produced by and about African Americans, particularly in the southern United States. Elizabeth is also interested in the relationship between the education system and media, and she hopes to continue to find ways to bring what she has learned at Barnard into “the real world.” She is excited to join the DHC team as one of the Summer Fellows and learn more about the intersections of humanities, technology, and social justice!
