The Digital Humanities Center will be closed the week of November 22nd. Please join us again for open hours, Tuesdays and Thursdays 2-8 pm beginning on November 30th. Please visit our COVID-19 page for more information.

This year's kickoff ceremony on Feb. 8, 12pm, will feature a conversation between Barnard DHC's own Madiha Zahrah Choksi and Lisa Rhody, digital humanities scholar at The Graduate Center, CUNY. They will discuss NYCDH as a community of practice impacted by this year's ongoing crises and traumas.

Alicia Peaker, DHC’s Associate Director, will lead a workshop for NYCDH entitled Reducing Your Digital Carbon Footprint. This workshop will help participants explore the material impacts of our digital lives through the Black feminist praxis framework of adrienne maree brown’s Emergent Strategy: Shaping Change, Changing Worlds.
