Lunchtime Book Series: The Age of Surveillance Capitalism by Shoshana Zuboff

-

This semester the Barnard DHC is continuing its lunchtime book series for students and staff to get together and talk about different books, about, or relating to the digital humanities. On March 6th, we're tackling The Age of Surveillance Capitalism by Shoshana Zuboff. This massive book details how we have gotten to this stage of information capitalism and what we should do next. You absolutely do not need to read the book to enjoy this lunchtime book discussion. Taylor Faires, the Digital Humanities Post-Baccalaureate Fellow is presenting on the themes of the book for a larger discussion about surveillance capitalism and what it means for all of us.

There will be pizza!
